The Nineosphere is the home of the Niner Fiction Canon. Niners are community members of io9, an AWESOME science fiction website which you should check out right now. We are not officially affiliated with io9 in any way--we are simply fans and community members of the site and nothing here should be taken to reflect the official views or policy of io9 or Gawker Media.
Niners participate in activities like #ThursdayTales which are stories generally 1k words or less, and #SaturdayShortStories which are stories of 2k-10k words. The Searchable Nineosphere is an archive with links to all the Niner fiction posted at io9. Enjoy.
